Happy Veteran's Day

I think it is neat that Veteran's day is in the month of November - the month of Thanksgiving in the United States.  There are no veterans in my immediate family, but I want all veterans to know that I am thankful for your service.

I was happy to use the snippet of leftover stamped banner on the inside of the card. I think it is cute.

Supplies: Our Daily Bread Designs Patriotic Pennants stamp set and Matching Dies, Shine On stamp set, Pennant Row 2 die, My Favorite Things Stitched squares dies, Hero Arts Navy, Red Royal and Soft Sky Shadow inks, Distress Tumbled Glass, Versafine Onyx Black ink, Cuttlebug Embossing folder, cardstocks from my stash

I would love to participate in the following challenges:
ModSquad Challenge Blog - Give Thanks

Thank you for your visit today!

  1. So pretty. I love the stitched frame with the sponging around your image. This card is so perfect for honoringa special veteran today.

  2. Your card is very nice and happily patriotic. I adore that little banner you used inside and out!

  3. A lovely remembrance to all our veterans. My dad was in the army for 22 years and I used to be a 2 Lt in the reserves. Your card is very nice, and of course banners always add a special touch.

  4. That is a cool swirl design on that star and love the little banner with it, so neat that you carried that to the inside of the card too!

  5. This is a lovely card and a lovely design! Very thoughtful! Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Mod Squad Challenge Donna, Challenge Host.

  6. A lovely thank you to our Veterans!

  7. Oh, this is so pretty. Love that sweet little banner. Thanks for joining us for Mojo Monday!

  8. What a wonderful thank you to our Veterans! I love the addition of the banner and the colors are just perfect for this design! My apologies for missing some of your postings, but I have enjoyed seeing your lovely creations as I catch up on things! :) HUGS - *Vicki*
