Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog. I’d like to share a Nautical card with you today.
The background was stamped and heat embossed with white. I then made a sort of watercolor paint using my blue Distress Ink reinkers and a little water and applied this to the paper. I simply stamped the Tall Ship with navy blue ink. I think the red frame really finishes off the card well.
Supplies: Just for Fun Rubber stamps Tall Ship, Old Sea Map Background stamps, Veramark Ink, Hero Arts Navy Ink, Recollections detail white embossing powder, Distress Reinkers in all the blues, Gina Marie X stitched circle dies, other supplies from my stash
This fits Just for Fun’s July Challenge, as well as SimonSaysStamps Wednesday challenge - Both Red White and Blue!

Love those blues and the design Heidi. Fantastic card good for men or women. Great encouragement.
This is fabulous and I really like the background you created! The pop of red sets this one apart from the norm in a beautiful way!
That is a wonderful nautical scene and I love the red, white and blue color combos too.
Wow, you have made a really gorgeous card ,Heidi ! Love how you made background panels by heat embossing & watercoloring. To watercolor on a space is not easy and you did it wonderfully. I'm really impressed by how you incorporated our theme colors into your card, which is so fun and beautiful. Thank you so much for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Watercolor Challenge.

I love old maps so this background is so cool, the ship looks great with it!
Such a classy card. The white embossing on the background and the blue water colouring looks great. Gorgeous 'ship' stamp and the red sure does look great for the frame x.
