Citrus Slice Thank You card

Hello! I have a quick card to share today that I made for a challenge at SplitCoast.  I thought the citrus theme would be fun for a thank you for someone who is just sweet!

I just stamped the citrus slice repeatedly and used a die cut for the sentiment.  I think the experience has convinced me to try to find some of those thin line glue applicators.  Gluing that word on got a little messy!

Supplies: Hero Arts Love Jar stamp set, Avery Elle Pigment Ink in Raspberry, Fizz and Mimosa, Gina K Passionate Pink cardstock, Cheery Lynn die

Thanks for coming by!

Oh, Heidi, I just love this citrus stamp and how you've used it with the sweet colors! And your word die is wonderful - I really love the font and your placement! Hugs, sweet friend!

so cute, great job lining it up and stamping. Hey I have the fine line glue that I use but I also cut a piece of paper just the size of my die, run that through my Xyron and then cut my die, just peel off the backing paper and apply :)

Love your card..the stamp, colors & layout. Have you ever used Glad Press & Seal? I sometimes cut out my die, put Press & Seal over it and then flip it over and apply glue. Then I flip it to the right side..I hold the press & seal to position it on the card, press it down & then peel off the wrap. It's cheap and a really good way to position things and not end up with glue everywhere.

No, I have not tried that, but that is a really great idea! Thanks for sharing!

love this card and have a suggestion for you. You mention that gluing got a bit messy. I use a spray photo glue for most of my delicate die cuts like words. I have an old small cardboard box and I lay the piece inside and then give it a quick spray. It isn't messy to use if you do it this way and it sticks really well. The only thing is that there are mild fumes so if you are sensitive it isn't a good idea unless doing it outside in the fresh air.

Thanks for the great idea. I think I already have some spray glue and since it is summer, I could pretty easily go outside. Thanks so much for commenting!
