I have two cards to share today, both using peg stamps and the same sketch I found that is dated 2013. I have been doing a lot of muted colors and that is the card that I completed first.
(Click on photos for larger image.)
This card uses just 2 peg stamps plus a sentiment. It was really fun to make and I thought it looked really traditional with the sponging all over the card.
Then I decided to try something brighter.
This card also uses peg stamps, but I chose a white card base, brighter colors and only sponged right next to the stamping. That sponging is a great way to fill the the gaps and ground those tiny images in place.
This would be a really easy card to make multiples. I used my circle punch instead of dies, because it is simply so much faster. The sentiment circle is popped up to draw attention to it.
Supplies: Rubber Stamp Tapestry Pine Branch Border and Holiday Stockings sets, Sentiment from October Afternooon Silent Night, Avery Elle inks in Celery, Mermaid, Truffle, Strawberry, Distress inks in Peeled Paint and Tea Dye, Tim Holtz by Sizzix Embossing folder
I would love to participate in the following challenge:

These are so pretty. I think I shall dig out my peg stamps now. It is ages since I used them, but you have inspired me. Kate x
Love the colorations in BOTH versions of this card. What a lovely way to use the peg stamps to create the wreath of the ornaments...(I'll agree with Mamapez, I should try to use some of the peg stamp sets collected over the years!) Lovely cards. TFS
Heidi, I think I lean toward the brighter second card...I love bold colors. Your first feels more vintage and the second more modern. So glad you made both versions.
Two pretty cards and I especially like the first one with it's vintage colours. The embossing folder that you've used makes a wonderful frame for your baubles. Sandra X
These are both very pretty Heidi and the combination of little stamps works beautifully and is very pretty against the lovely embossed and inked background of the first, and the more subtle application on the second which gives a brighter finish. Thank you for joining us for the July Rudolph Days Challenge. x
Those peg stamps look like so much fun, love how you created two versions of the same design, they are both so beautiful!
Great use of the peg stamps, circles would be easy to make ahead. Love bright colours so the 2nd card is my choice. Thanks for sharing.
