A fun announcement & Halloween Challenge

Hello everyone! I have an exciting announcement today! I was so thrilled to be asked to join the Just For Fun Rubber Stamps Design Team! I will be posting over at their blog the first and third Wednesdays of each month.

In addition, today I have a project I made for Just For Fun's October Challenge - Halloween using at least 2 stamps.

First, I stamped my images with Archival ink onto plain cardstock.  I sponged Worn Lipstick, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves and finally Black Soot Distress inks to create the spooky sky for the little kitty to look out upon.  I bet you recognize that I splashed a little water over top to create a starry look.

Supplies: Just for Fun Rubber Stamps Tiny Black Kat and Crooked Old Tree stamps, Archival Jet Black ink, Distress inks in Worn Lipstick, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot, Halloween Scrap pack paper and pink pearls from my stash.

All my projects with Just for Fun stamps can be found here.   You could win a gift certificate to JFF if you play along, so check out Just For Fun's October Challenge!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I truly appreciate your support and kind comments!

  5. Oh very cool Heidi, great background and the water does give it that starry night sky look, great silhouette of the tree and cat!

  6. Congrats on your DT spot, and well deserved! This is one of the coolest Halloween cards I've seen yet! I LOVE the sponged colors and great striped papers with that black cat! Awesome card! I think I need to add more colors to my Distress ink collection after seeing this :)
