Hello stamping friends! I have spent a while this morning trying to catch up on your blogs. I missed so much when my family and I were sick. I have a touch of laryngitis still, but am hoping to be back at it now. I can't possibly catch up on everything I missed, so I will now just be moving forward.
I have a pretty floral card to share today. This did not turn out how I originally planned, but then again, that rarely happens!
I stamped the flowers, colored with alcohol markers and then fussy cut them. The leaves were stamped onto a white piece of cardstock, colored and then I sponged ink to fill in all the white spots. I decided to trim this out and place it over some woodgrain paper.
The sentiment was popped up with some foam tape. I spent a few minutes moving it around from here to there, and I think this is a good spot for it!
Supplies: Just for Fun Rubber stamps Flora and Fauna sheet, Sentiment sheet 3, Memento and Versafine black inks, Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, My Mind's Eye Bramble Rose paper pad.
I would love to participate in the following challenge:

I love these flowers against the plank background, Heidi! Thanks for visiting my blog this morning, and to answer your question, yes, those trillium are transplants from the woods near our home, years and years ago. So glad I rescued them then, as that area is to be developed soon.......I love them, too!
Heidi, I love these beautiful flowers. I am going to have to take a look at the stamp sheet. Thanks, for sharing.
Hi Heidi,Such a sweet card, I love your colors and patterns! Thank you for Joining in our Anything Goes challenge at Word Art Wednesday! Ginny M DT
Heidi, beautiful card and design. There is something so pretty about flowers against a wood backdrop.
What a fun and happy design, those flowers make me smile!
So pretty!
the layout is just gorgeous, and such pretty coloring of your flowers and leaves, I have been hoarding my wood paper and I really need to break it out, you have me wanting to break them out!
Such a lovely card. Your flowers look lovely on the wood grain. Wood is so popular these days. Yes, your sentiment is placed just perfectly.
Love those pretty pink flowers with the wooden plank background. So neat! I hope you are completely well soon.
Oh, Heidi, I'm so sorry you've all been sick, and I hope you get over the laryngitis soon. A doctor told me years ago to drink hot orange juice, and it really helps break it up...just don't make it too hot. Anyway, I love this card with the flowers fussy cut and placed over the woodgrain paper. I'm with Connie about breaking out some of this myself. I've been keeping it...not knowing exactly what to do with it for some of my cards. But you've inspired me. I've been MIA myself lately with my eye surgery among other things, and I am trying to just move forward rather than try to catch up. Hugs and prayers for healing, and I wish you a blessed holy week as we anticipate Resurrection Sunday. xoxo
I just love the contrast of the vivid flowers with the aged wood. Tremendous and so beautiful! Hugs, Autumn
