Happy Birthday Skunk ;)

Hello and hope everyone is having a lovely Mother's Day.  I had one stamped and colored skunk leftover from the baby cards I made the other day, so I spent some time finding a use for it.

I started with the base of embossed cardstock.  I usually just use this one for Valentines, so it was fun to get it out again!  The frame is a piece of printed acetate over top of pink cardstock.  I am such a fan of that acetate!  To finish it off, I just added some glossy accents to the stamped heart the skunk is holding.

Supplies: Lawn Fawn Stinkin Cute, Year Two, Bannerific stamp sets, Memento and Versafine black inks, WeRMemory Keepers 6x6 Acetate pad, Gina K Passionate Pink and Onyx Black cardstock, Darice embossing folder

  1. Isn't it great when we can find a use for things that have been pre-stamped, or pre-coloured? And you have made great use of that sweet little skunk Heidi! Enjoy the rest of your day and have a great upcoming week! Luv & Hugs. Hazel xx

  2. I'm envious at how quickly and easily you used those leftover elements to make another card - unlike myself who tosses them into a 12x12 container to be opened only when it's overflowing! LOL I love this stinkin' cute card with the acetate and fun background! Adorbs!

  4. Hi Heidi, a super birthday card, love the acetate you have used, patterned acetate is not something I have come across, the little skunk is very cute and perfectly coloured too. Have a wonderful week... Megan

  5. Like the acetate over the paper and the glossy accents on the heart. That embossed background ties it together perfectly!

  7. So cute. I love the pink tiger print. Using the acetate is something unique and adds nice dimension to your card. I like the embossing folder. Never saw one like it before.
