Mystery Flowers - Solved?

I was cutting some flowers from my garden the other day, and as I was setting them on the sidewalk in a little pile, I realized they looked just like a stamp I have.  If you were here a few weeks ago, you might have seen a flower silhouette card. I had been wondering what flower it was supposed to be and now I think I know.

Pansies and Violas!

I got that stamp out again to make a card. I stamped with purple Distress Oxide ink and embossed with sparkle embossing powder.  I had trouble getting the sparkle to show up on camera.  I then used my favorite frame die on this card and a snippet of purple cardstock from my scrap box.

Supplies: Purple Onion Designs Flower Cluster, Power Poppy Simply Camellias stamp set, Distress Oxide Wilted Violet, Versafine Onyx Black, Recollections Sparkle embossing powder, Echo Park Victoria Garden 6x6 paper pad, Avery Elle Wonky Stitched Rectangles die, EK Success Circle punch

I would love to join in with these challenges:

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!  I really appreciate your support!

Oh, Heidi, what a beautiful card, and I love the violet and yellow together! And what a great photo of the two flowers. We used to have pansies growing along our walkway as a child, and mom would put them in our upswept hair...such fun! And, yes, the violas are delicate and beautiful too! What fun to come across both of them! Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs and love! xoxo

How wonderful that you have figured out what flowers they were by picking the real ones, the color is so pretty against the yellow background , lovely thinking of you card!

This is really pretty. I got a few oxide inks but I didn't really get on with using them for a background. However, i found them really good for stamping and I'm interested that you did this here too - they give a good depth of colour.

Lovely silhouette and I would agree pansies are the flower. I Like the clean feeling of this, lovely card. Thanks for playing in our Power and Spark challenge this month.
