Nautical Card Set

Hello!  I have a set of 3 cards that were easy to put together. The Mojo Monday sketch challenge this time is a special one that turns your 2 sheets of patterned paper into 3 cards.  The cut guide and sketches are here.

I decided that I would use stamps from I Brake for Stamps By the Sea Rubber Sheet.  This is a really great set of stamps! These were made in a pretty straightforward way, the only one that requires some explanation is the fish.  I had some dendritic paintings in my stash. (This link shows an introduction to the kind of painting.)   I stamped the fish over top of this with Staz On ink and fussy cut him out.  I had used some lumiere paint that I thought looked shiny like scales.

Thank you for visiting today! Stay well and keep on stamping!

These are such lovely, serenely pretty designs. Chalk it up (at least in part) to me being born a stone's throw from the Pacific Ocean, but I have such a perpetual soft spot in my heart for all things nautical - paper crafting projects totally included.

Your nautical designs are fabulous Heidi! I can see what you'd want to pull out these papers to use too as I just love the patterns and colors! TFS the link for the idea as I would love to use up some more of my papers too! :)

Reminding me of summer, Heidi. Once again you rock the challenge/technique. I saved those 3 sketches days ago and didn't even notice the wonder sheet! I sure wasn't paying attention, huh? Love all 3 cards! Tried looking at the stamps but TBFS is closed right now? xoxo
