Power Poppy - Chinese Lanterns - Sunny Harvest Stamp set

I have been eyeing the Power Poppy stamps sets all year.  I finally picked up two sets during the Black Friday sale.  I just love what I got, and the sweet personal touch in my order.

I decided to participate in this month's challenge, which is to use any of the challenges from this year.  I did two off the list: Pencil Me In (color with pencils) and Hang Some Paper (use at least three patterned papers).

Supplies:
Power Poppy Sunny Harvest Stamp set
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
Derwent Inktense Pencils (Sun Yellow, Poppy Red, Tangerine, Apple Green)
Distress Ink Antique Linen
My Mind's Eye Sweetest Thing - Tangarine 6x6 paper pad
Watercolor paper

This project will be entered into the following challenge:

  1. Oh Heidi what a beautiful card! I too love Chinese Lanterns and have since I was a child...but the stamp is still on my wish list. Your coloring is fabulous and I love your card layout. TFS!

  2. This really is a beautiful card, Heidi. I have always loved that particular flower...the jack-o-lantern flower. It is so pretty on your card.

    1. Thank you! It is an unusual flower to find in stamp form. I like that you can color it differently too, since there are many varieties.
