I have been eyeing the Power Poppy stamps sets all year. I finally picked up two sets during the Black Friday sale. I just love what I got, and the sweet personal touch in my order.
I decided to participate in this month's challenge, which is to use any of the challenges from this year. I did two off the list: Pencil Me In (color with pencils) and Hang Some Paper (use at least three patterned papers).
Supplies:
Power Poppy Sunny Harvest Stamp set
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
Derwent Inktense Pencils (Sun Yellow, Poppy Red, Tangerine, Apple Green)
Distress Ink Antique Linen
My Mind's Eye Sweetest Thing - Tangarine 6x6 paper pad
Watercolor paper
This project will be entered into the following challenge:

Oh Heidi what a beautiful card! I too love Chinese Lanterns and have since I was a child...but the stamp is still on my wish list. Your coloring is fabulous and I love your card layout. TFS!
This really is a beautiful card, Heidi. I have always loved that particular flower...the jack-o-lantern flower. It is so pretty on your card.
Thank you. It has taken me several years to start enjoying coloring stamps, but I really am enjoying it. I really like having stamps like this that are unusual.
Thank you! It is an unusual flower to find in stamp form. I like that you can color it differently too, since there are many varieties.
Beautifully colored, I forgot to go back and do it so I didn't get any on sale, hoping she does that again, pretty paper choices to go with it!!
Thanks! Holiday stamps there happen to be 10% off with code Holiday10
WOW this is so pretty Heidi...such a gorgeous image and colored so beautifully
Cheers

A beautiful job with these Chinese lanterns! Such lovely colouring and I love the rich earthy feel to the design. Thanks so much for joining us at Power Poppy this month!
Heidi, I missed this one, but it's really beautiful! And I agree that your coloring is lovely and is perfect with the DP you've used! And what a beautiful layout! Hugs! (I'm so excited you've started a gallery on SCS!)
Thanks Cheryl! The Power Poppy sets are so fun to color, as I am sure you know! :)
