Spring by the Lake Silhouette Sympathy Cards

Thanks so much for visiting today.  I have two similar Sympathy cards to share today.  The first was stamped on a watercolor background.  I can’t remember what that technique is called, but you just paint and then throw salt on the paper before it dries.  So easy and so pretty.

The second card was stamped over patterned paper.  I think it was important for both these cards to have a nice black frame.  It adds a lot to a clean and simple card.

Supplies:  Just for Fun Rubber Stamps Spring By the Lake Silhouette, Sentiment Sheet 3, Versafine Black ink, Love Nicole Aquarelle 6x6 patterned paper pad

I would like to enter this in Word Art Wednesday’s current challenge - Anything Goes.

You can find me on facebook or pinterest, too.

Both are so wonderful and I love the backgrounds on both as well. I used to do that watercolor design with salt so I was glad you reminded me of it again.

Really pretty effects - the salt makes it look like dappled light.

Wonderful clean cards, both of them. The technique on the first looks fabulous and the silhouetting on both cards looks so classy x.
