Hello and thanks for coming by.
I have this long and detailed list of card ideas on my computer, but I feel like I am in a little bit of a slump and don't have the energy to make all these ideas in to a reality. I know this happens to everyone so I am hoping this will pass soon.
I do have one card I managed to finish up this week.
I masked off the stripe and then used distress ink to sponge color, and then used a bunch of those little stamps to fill in a faux patterned paper. I really love the strawberry red and yellow color combo of those flowers. I wonder if I will be able to find those colors to use in my real garden this year.
The vellum butterfly I had in my "unfinished bits" box, and I think he coordinates nicely, even though he is not a match to the other colors I used.
Supplies: Rubber Stamp Tapestry stamps from the sets Holiday Stockings, Cherry Blosson and A Spot of Tea, Gina K Designs Massive Messages and Warm Spring Wishes stamp sets, Avery Elle Pigment inks in Celery, Lemongrass, Papaya, Strawberry and Mimosa, Versamark Ink, Ranger Verdigris Embossing Powder, Vellum, GKD Jelly Bean green cardstock
I would love to participate in the following challenge:
