I have several baby birds in my yard right now. I have seen the baby Downy Woodpecker, a young House Finch, and I am fairly sure the two Carolina Chickadees are going in and of the birdhouse so often because there is a nest full of babies to feed! We are anxiously awaiting the day they will fledge.
Anyhow! I do not have a bird quite like this one! None of the birds seem to be taking care of a cute little mouse, but wouldn’t it be sweet if they did? DH suggested I color the bird to look similar to an Oriole, so I made up a species here. I will be using this card as a baby card.
Supplies: I Brake for Stamps Bird with Mouse stamp, Hero Arts CL342 Sentiment set, Memento and Versafine Black inks, My Mind’s Eye Stella & Rose 6x6 Patterned paper pad, Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
