Textured Daffodil Card

Welcome and thanks for coming to visit my blog!

Today I want to share a card I made for Easter since the time to send out these cards is approaching quickly!

I have been wanting to use some textured paper on a card, so that is what I stamped on today and afterwards colored with chalks.  I fussy cut out the image.  I stamped the Easter sentiment on the inside.

If you like this stamp, you may be interested in this card where I used the same stamp, but with oil pastels.

Supplies: I Brake For Stamps March Daffodil, Gina K Designs Dark Chocolate Ink, Pebbles Chalks Brights,  Tim Holtz/Sizzix Embossing Folder, Gina K Designs Jelly Bean Green cardstock

I would like to enter this into the following challenge:

The subtle embossing on the panel adds so much elegance to this beautiful card!

I like this idea of creating the frame with the EF and then adding the fussy cut image...it looks fab!

Those daffodils are just lovely, Heidi ... so texture-y ... and fabulous with the dimension of the embossed frame! Thanks so much for your visit and sweet words! Anita :)

Nice scissor work on the bold daffodils! They look especially nice with the texture of the paper.

so pretty with the chalks, the texture is neat and I love the embossed framing gives something without taking away from the flowers!
