I don’t know if this easy background technique already has a name, it doesn’t need one, but I called it Glossy Spritz, for the sake of the blog title.
For each card, I decided to stamp right over top of the background with Archival Black ink. I just chose very different stamps for each card based on how the background was “feeling” to me.
Honesty, the biggest trick to making this card is waiting for the black ink to dry so you don’t smudge it. I hope you might want to try it today as it is so fun and easy.
Here are the stamps I used for these cards:
Animals from MS110 Full Plate in the I Brake for Stamps shop.
Sentiment from Inspirational Phrases in the I Brake for Stamps shop.
Thank You Word Art from the Blank Page Muse Shop.
Flowers from Flower & Bird Sketches from the Blank Page Muse Shop.

I love your backgrounds. The cards are great! I especially love the wild animals card.
Beautifully created cards Heidi, your backgrounds are fabulous, Kate 💖
The "Glossy Background" technique looks really stunning with your card here! I love the top with the multiple colors and the stack of animals! They're both beautifully done!
