So Many Reasons to Be Thankful Card - Fussy cutting

Once I got used to it, I started to love fussy cutting out my stamped images, such as the sunflower in this card. I might stamp a bunch of them, then cut them out when I am watching tv.

I use Cutterbee scissors that are sharp, small and fit my hand well. I turn the paper instead of my hand.  With practice, it goes quickly, and you don't need a fancy cutting machine or dies.  I also hand trimmed out a simple tag shape for this card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Gina K Harvest of Wishes Mini Stamp Set (sunflower)
Gina K You're My Favorite Mini stamp set (sentiment)
Ink: Archival Jet Black
Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye Lost&Found Two, Sunshine, 6x6 inch pad

Watercolor stamping with butterflies

Supplies:
Stamp: Gina K Wildflowers
Ink: Distress Ink Mowed Lawn
Paper: Canson Cold Press Watercolor 140 lb
Embossing folder: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots

Watercolor is such a fun look for cards and is easy to do.  All you need is paper (I like watercolor best for this, but use what you have), dye ink, a stamp and a spray bottle.

Just ink up your stamp and spray some water on it.  Alternatively, you can spray the water out into the air and waft your stamp through the resulting mist.

Use a little, or a lot.  Your results will be different depending on your ink, paper and amount of water, but they likely all will be pretty.  I say, "embrace the results!" For another look, use multiple colors of ink on the same stamp.
