I had a lot of fun with this kind of watercolor stamping technique. I used my Tombow water-based markers to color on my rubber stamp, then just stamped it onto wet watercolor paper. I experimented with the amount of water and I liked the look with less water, then just applied a touch more coral with a wet brush.
I went ahead and aged the image with tan and brown Distress inks and a sponge. The matte is kraft cardstock that has also been distresed with the same colors to match.
I used a background stamp to create the card base with Distress ink over kraft cardstock.
