Forget-Me-Not Heart Card

Hello stamping friends!  I can already tell that August is going to be a low production card-making month for me.  There is so much to do outside and we need to make the most of the end of summer.  On the flip side, I also am low on cards to send!  Maybe I will be able to prove myself wrong.  Is this a slow period for you too?

I made this card using a mix of a digi image and a clear stamp.  I colored the image with a few alcohol markers, then just added a die cut frame and some colored cardstocks to bring out the flowers.  I love forget-me-nots and wish I had some in my garden. They are so cheery.

Supplies: Power Poppy Forget Me Not Heart digi, Sunny Harvest stamp set, Versafine black ink, Gina Marie Loopy rectangle die, cardstocks all from my scrap box.

I would love to play with Power Poppy's Mix and Match challenge, and Pixie's Snippets Playground.

Thanks for visiting my blog!  I know your time is important and appreciate your visit and comments!

Oh, Heidi, what a beautiful card with this lovely Forget Me Not Heart digi! It's a favorite because it can be colored fairly easily and quickly, and I love the sentiment you chose inside! I have these Gina Marie dies and love it. It adds such a lovely and feminine touch, and I love how you've popped it up. Beautifully done, and it's a perfect card for the Power Poppy challenge this month! I love it!! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo

Loving that image on the beautiful die-cut mat! The CAS look is what appeals to me the most :)

What a professional looking card. It really resonates with me because it is CAS and layered without matting. The scalloped edges adds a nice touch. Your image is pretty too.

So pretty, it almost has that kind of Scandinavian design to it! Such a pretty soft choice for framing it! I don't have as many birthday's in August but have tons in September so need to get a head start for next month :) Enjoy the rest of the summer with your family :) Can you believe schools start here this week and next week :( poor kids

Heidi, this is a fabulous card. So sweet and happy making. August/September are often challenging for me in getting a lot of cards made as I am often travelling to see my Dad. I work up to have blog posts but don't actually get much done during those times. This year I have prepped 50 Christmas cards for my first trip in August.

THis is so pretty and delicate and the cut edges really compliment the image. I have more time to craft in summer, because I get four weeks off work , but unfortunately, I am back on Tuesday.
