Limited Supply Cardmaking - Cat & Dog Christmas card

Hello!  This has a bit of a backstory, and at the end, I share a resource to send your extra cards directly to those who may need some cheering up this year. So, stay with me!

I recently picked up this unique Cat & Dog Christmas paper pad at Michaels.  It was on sale for $2.50, and it is just too cute to resist.  I really liked that it had lots of sentiment tags in the pad, but on the opposite side of those sheets it had a smaller print which would be easy to use, if you don’t like the tags.

When I got home, I realized that I don’t have any pet-related Christmas stamps.  I spend some time shopping online, but just couldn’t bring myself to order anything.  Instead, I decided to use the patterned paper pad, Christmas sentiment stamps I already own, and a few of the non-Christmas pet stamps I have (I actually have very few, considering the cat-lover I am!)

These are what I came up with!

I added sentiments to the tags that didn’t have one already, and I colored some kitten stamps and used them as embellishments, and even added a little paw print and some tiny snowflakes from a punch.

I got to thinking that this type of paper pad would be great for beginner cardmakers, too!

Supplies: Recollections Happy Pawlidays paper pad, W Plus 9 Pick of the Litter stamp set, Power Poppy Snow Kissed stamp set (sentiments), Inkadinkado Cats stamp set (paw print), Memento and Versafine Black inks, Hero Arts Red Royal ink, EK Success Large snowflake and snowflake border punches

I would love to enter Cute Card Thursday’s Anything Goes Challenge, and WordArtWednesday’s Anything Goes Challenge.

CHARITY OPPORTUNITY!

Have you already sent out your Christmas cards but have a few extra?  Do you find yourself with some extra Christmas mojo now?  Find a list of names of recipients to send a Christmas card to at The Angel Card Project - https://www.theangelcardproject.com/

You can do this even if you only have one card to send!  And they don’t need to be hand made.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

What a fun bunch of pet related Christmas cards! I especially like that second one with the doggie dressed up like Rudolph! Reminds me of our first pet - a little dachshund.
