Crocus in Pink with Spotlight Embossing

I would love to share with you this pretty crocus!  I colored this in a shade that is not found in nature, because I just liked the color.  That is one of the things about papercrafting that I like, I get to choose the colors!

Let me first talk about how I did the background.  This is a technique called Spotlight Embossing.  Basically you can stencil any shape you like, I did a basic circle.  Then, just emboss your entire panel.  Afterwards, take a sandpaper block, and sand the top off to get white accents.  This technique is super easy with really lovely results.

I then just stamped and colored the flower with alcohol markers, fussy cut it and added my sentiment.

The stamps I used can be found in the Blank Page Muse Shop. Use my affiliate code to save 15% on your order.  BPMHeidi
