Hello! I wanted to take a moment today to first thank all of my readers. I am so appreciative of all the lovely and encouraging comments you leave on my blog. It is a real blessing to me that you take the time to visit and comment. And I also enjoy visiting you!
Today, my card is a bit different. My focal image is cut from a piece of patterned paper. But the background and accents are stamped. I added white gel pen to the background to get a nice bandana look. And I colored and cut out some small flowers to match the image.
Supplies: October Afternoon Sasparilla 8x8 patterned paper, Stampendous Bandana cling background, Power Poppy Folk Heart Stamp set, Versafine and Memento Black inks, MFT DieNamics Pierced Square dies, Sizzix Tim Holtz Tag dies, other items from my stash.
I’d like to enter this into Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper challenge for April and Word Art Wednesday’s Anything Goes Challenge.
Thank you for stopping by!

That's a great background you created and truly has that bandana look with the white dots! Great way to frame that bit of dsp for a cute card.
What a fun card, Heidi! Love your blue bandanna!
You did an awesome job on your card. The cowgirl image looks terrific on the bandana background. Love the bright blue. Terrific work.
Great combination of fabulous stamping, patterned paper and wow to the glorious colour combination x. A very eye catching card x.
What a brilliant idea Heidi, to reverse the oft used printed paper for the backdrop and the stamping for the main. It all goes together fabulously.
Such a cute focal image and I love that bandanna background you made. The white is the perfect accent for it and the flowers look fantastic with it too.
What a cute card! Your bandanna background is awesome!!
that is just adorable and I love your sentiment to go with it. Fantastic job on the background, your white touches sure do really make it look like a bandana!!
Hi Heidi, a stunning card, you have done a wonderful job stamping the bandana background and adding hints of white. Apologies for not being around much of late, I've been spending extra time on my family history which can be so interesting.. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Easter... have a wonderful week...
