Daffodils and more - Flower of the Month 2018

Hello!  Hope your day is going well.  I am using this flower garden as double duty - Daffodils for my Flower of the Month theme, as well as a fun challenge from Power Poppy to get inspiration from fabric.  I was not sure if I should go upstairs and dig around to use fabric on my card, but I ended up playing it safe and grabbed colors from the fabric shown in their inspiration pinterest board HERE.

Last week, I got a surprise package in the mail from Cat! She sent me a bunch of die cuts since she knew my Cuttlebug was broken! How sweet of her. I used the sentiment die cut here, colored it yellow with a marker and then added stickles glitter to help it stand out.

Supplies: Power Poppy Natural Beauties Stamps set, Memento black ink, Spectrum Noir markers, KI Memories 6x6 paper pad, thanks die and Stickles glitter glue

Thanks for stopping by!

You can find me on facebook or pinterest, too.

Beautiful coloring of the flowers, pretty papers and embossing to go with it, that was so sweet of your friend to send some die cuts, I never thought of that.

You colored these flowers beautifully and how thoughtful of Cat to send you some die cuts! Sadly, I did not make it to the stamp show over the weekend, but I'm glad you got to go and hopefully you managed to get some fun goodies to play with :)

I love your little garden Heidi, especially with the daffodil. I am glad the cuts are coming in handy! It would make me a bit nuts to be without my die cutting machine.

What a sweetie Cat is to have sent you die cuts. The end of my CB keeps popping off and a few pieces were broken, so Al kindly crazy glued things back in place for me.

I love, love, love this card. That stamp, or stamps, make up such a pretty garden with multiple colours. Great work.
