Simple Stamping - Daffodils Sympathy Card

When is the last time you just stamped and image and left it as is?  The StampTV challenge this month is to use black and white and just a pop of color (and you must add a bow), so I decided this pretty stamp could stand on its own.  I think it works well with this arrangment as a sympathy card.

Supplies: Gina K Designs Sending Love stamp set, scalloped die cut from bristol paper was given to me, Memento black ink, Versafine black ink, other supplies from my stash

I would love to enter Simon Says Stamp’s Wednesday Floral Frenzy Challenge and Word Art Wednesday’s Anything Goes challenge.

Thanks for taking a look!

You can find me on facebook or pinterest, too.

I agree- this image is beautiful enough to stand on it's own! I love the yellow accents and ribbon with the black - it's just a stunning sympathy card!

Heidi, I would never think to stamp an image and not color it. I love it!! The image and card are gorgeous, and I agree with Cat that you may have started a trend!! Thanks for giving me another tool for my crafting toolbox!!! Hugs!

This is so gorgeous not being colored and the pop of yellow is perfect with it. I love the wonderful sympathy card created using this design.

that is a lovely stamp to keep plain and it fits just perfectly inside your diecut, makes for a lovely sympathy card, I am trying to think if I have left a stamp plain without color.

I would have never thought to leave an image plain, and it looks so nice. The pop of yellow was a nice choice.

I can't do it. I can't stamp an image and leave it plain. I love the look but when I do it, I feel like people will think I forgot to color it... or was too lazy. Oh dear. I love this though with the pop of YELLOW!

Great idea to stamp the image in the black and white and then pick up the yellow of the daffodil with the ribbon etc. Such a gorgeous card x
