ETA 3/2/19: I was so pleased to be selected as one of the Librarian’s Choice for this challenge. Thank you!
Hello! We are coming off a very snowy day here. Although we haven’t had the “big one” blizzard yet this winter, I am about ready to be done with all the school delays and cancellations. Actually, I think the kids would like to be back on a regular schedule too!

Anywhooooo, I have a card to share today that is a little clean & simple, but I think it is a lot of fun. I might use this for a graduation card this year, but I also might use it for a friend who is often going off on trips and adventures!
I stamped my Just for Fun Skyline stamp with two colors of pigment ink for my background. I like the bit of texture I get when using pigment ink, so after I stamped my Mama Elephant bridge with Versafine, I also did the little bus with two shades of red pigment ink. I popped that bus up on foam tape and then finished the scene off with the little hearts in the sky.
Hey, does anyone know of a good foam tape that is thinner than the standard tapes? I think it would be cheaper and easier to mail things if I had something with dimension, but thinner!
I would love to play with the Library Challenge: The Note the ModSquad Challenge blog’s Brand Name Stamp challenge, and SimonSaysStamp’s Monday Challenge: Things with Wheels.
Supplies: Just for Fun Rubber Stamps Skyline Silhouette, Mama Elephant Sightseeing stamps set, Avery Elle pigment inks in Fizz, Strawberry, Cherry and Mimosa, Versafine Onyx Black ink.
Thanks so much for visiting today! I appreciate each subscriber and comment!

Love this card Heidi. ITs whimisically happy. I just use craft foam now. It's 2mm thick which is good for mailing. Stampin up foam dots are thin too. So are CTMH's - half the thickness of most commercial ones.
Great scene making and love the effect from the pigment inks. The cute little hearts are adorable. I don't use foam tapes so can't help you out....sorry x
That's a great idea and design for either card you have in mind. I really like the color of the background compared to the bus, great combo! I almost always use Stampin' Up dimensionals in both regular and mini size. They aren't bulky like some foam and hold very well too!
I love the pretty scene you made. Great colors too.
Fabulous scene, very creative.
I adore this card!! I lived in London for awhile, so I gravitate toward anything like double-decker buses! I love how you created an entire scene here and the color palette is perfect! I enjoyed having such a lovely piece of London art to look at. Thank you for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
I'm quite jealous of how you put this wonderful scene together - I love the way you've used colour in the layering of the stamped elements - it looks amazing. Thanks for joining The Library.
Great card! Love your design. I also use craft foam for dimension which comes in various widths and seems to do well for mailing.
I like this cute and colorful card. I call those happy colors. With all the dreary days this winter, I like making cards that look happy. :) Have you checked the thinner pieces of fun foam to see if it is thinner than your tape? You could glue those on the back of your card pieces or maybe just glue a little piece of card board behind them.
Wow that city sky line is really incredible with your colors and I love how the red really makes it pop with the black accents!! Such a wonderful sentiment too!! :) For the "thinnner" foam, I have used the "fun foam" or "kraft foam" that you find in the children's craft section. You have to tape or glue it, but it's a nice thin dimension. I've also been know to save scraps of cardboard pieces from packaging too because I thought foam tape was too thick as well. The more expensive version is the roll of 3D foam tape which I like, but the cheaper versions can work too. Depends on what you prefer!
Great idea to use this card for both occasions, I love it when our supplies can be used for more than one theme. Love how you have layered it all!
Such a great card Heidi, love that bus and clever design too ;) Viv xx
Heidi, this is splendid! I absolutely love this card design and London, too! You've captured it perfectly and it's one fabulous creation!
