New Sympathy Card Series: January

Hello and happy Monday!

One of my personal goals this year is to create more Sympathy cards.  I feel this is a very important card to send at such a sad time, but they are difficult to make in a hurry.  My goal is to make at least one per month this year.

I was very lucky to win this stamp set from Joy Clair, which is a new company to me.  There are several lovely phrases, and some sentiments useful for the inside too. (I neglected to photograph the inside of my card this time, whoops!)

Supplies: Joy Clair Heartfelt Sympanthy stamp set, Anna Griffin Embossing folder, Gina Marie Wonky Stitched Ovals dies, Recollections White Embossing Powder, Versamark ink, Memento Black ink.

I would love to enter SimonSaysStamp’s Monday Challenge - Anything Goes, WordArtWednesday’s Anything Goes challenge and Double Trouble’s Hot or Cold (Embossing) challenge

Lovely eye popping yellow. I like your flowers and congratulations on your win. This card is beautiful. I too need to make more sympathy cards. My goal is to make more masculine cards and I finished one yesterday.

I tend to make subtle colored sympathy cards, but this looks beautiful with the bold colors and I might need to change my way of thinking after seeing this! Gorgeous colors and embossing!

That is such a good idea, I have one in my stash so far :)
Your card is lovely, like the bright yellow embossed background and your coloring is so pretty!

Great coloring of your floral and love the bright yellow embossed background and nice layout. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and please come back and challenge yourself to bring in Twisted Sister's optional twist and sharing with Stinkin'Inkers too.

Oh these are the hardest cards to make for me but we still need them - your card is just gorgeous. Good luck with your monthly challenge!

This is beautiful and sure to comfort anyone grieving. I agree that sympathy cards are tough to make when they are unexpectedly needed. Great idea to work on them to have on hand.

This is a great idea- and your card is fabulous! I am in need of one right now, and it is a person close to me, so I want it to be special.....I love the embossing, the pretty floral image in the diecut and the embissed sentiment. Congrats on your win of stamps- you have done a beautiful job showcasing them!
