Hello! I hadn’t yet used this cute duck image from the Mostly Mice stamp set, and I needed a birthday card for a young person, so I thought I would use it with a funny saying.
I colored the image simply with alcohol markers and then used a die to cut an aperture in some fun patterned paper. I stamped the funny sentiment from the Monster Mash set with blue ink onto some yellow cardstock.

I like mixing and matching sets, and I do think this is pretty funny. I hope it will bring a smile to the face of the little boy I will be giving to!

This is so cute and festive with all the banners in that background paper! Love those silly ducks too! I pretty much always mix stamp sets and sentiments - whatever works for the card I'm making is what I'll use.

This is such a fun card! I love how you put the geese together and they are perfect for that sentiment. Sometimes I use the sentiment that goes with a specific image, but I like to use various ones. Many times the sentiments that come with sets are not what I would EVER say so I don't use them. I am fussy about sentiments and will not use anything that I would not say in talking to someone.
